I thought my mother was overprotective. =/ At least her version is freaking the hell out if she calls to check up on me and I don't answer my phone (usually because I'm sleeping - normal people aren't awake at 7am on a Saturday). If she did that to me I'd flip.
It's a good thing you're not taking her with you; because in Russia you over-protect her.
Just don't drive. There's a reason everyone in Russia has dash cams.
:o!
It's rude to write such things about Russia, as you people do. What makes you do that, I wonder? / Good vacations to the auther.
Meanwhile, in Mother Russia... the meteors pulverized my passport.
How would you even respond in a situation like that? and assuming the trip is already paid for, that would be a huge waste of money...
I guess the mother thinks that else she won't get her son back and that it's worth more than a passport and some money. Well, good trip to Russia, OP, I don't think it will be as bad as your mom thinks.
Jeez! looks like you'll have to keep your documents and money locked
F your dogs life! He won't get a vacation from your Mother. Visualizing this Fml made me smile. Thanks OP!

Joke's on her, you'll have it back a few hours later ;)
I've heard of "the dog ate my homework.".. But, "the dog ate my passport" is taking it to a whole new level.
