Can't hate. A 3 month membership is WAYYY cheaper than a car (used or not) + gas + insurance + maintenance.
Seriously? Youre complaining about them trying to do something for you. WAH WAH WAH. I ASKED for a gym membership for my birthday. Well I am part of a gym but i wanted a trainer... Do you have any grasp of how expensive your gift waS? That going to the gym is a luxury. How about "Thank you mom and dad for caring enough about me to want me to get into shape and giving me the tools to do so." Again, another spoiled brat.
#73 - did you ever think that being overweight would CAUSE her to have a lack of self esteem and her parents are giving her the tools to take care of it at a young age when its still managable?!?! She is going to look back at this and if she suses it to its fullest say "thank god my parents did that" or "i wish i had realized what i had when they gave it to me" She IS SPOILED because her parents did something nice for her and she can't appreciate it. ANd maybe she needs tio get into shape. I AM SICK and TIRED of hearing people whine about weight and how insecure they are when they dont even pay attention to the HEALTH ASPECTS of being oberweight. Poor you, you wanna look like a supermodel. Im wondering if her parents are concerned about her. Diabetes, Heart Disease, TONS of weight related illnesses that they are trying to prevent.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? you have to be the most ungrateful kid i have ever heard of. for one, on my 16th birthday i didn't even get a gift and i never complained about it either. what planet do you live on??? you want a car at the age of 16... dream on playa. on top of that gym memberships are not cheap and you caused this problem yourself. maybe you should not have gained so much excess weight and exercised (sometime NORMAL kids should do) or your parents wouldn't have given you that gift? huh? you think? oh and to top it off i'm surprised they didn't give you a box of twinkies so you could not only shut your mouth, but shove some more food in your face and add weight to your rolls.
whether she was hoping for a car or not, the fact that she posted the fml about getting a gym membership instead shows that she expected a car. if she wasn't expecting the car, then her life wouldn't be ******. i was overweight on my sixteenth birthday, and my parents actually bought me a gym membership too. i was happy with it, and i'm happy with the results i got from it. she's just spoiled.

Well I don't have a car, OR membership to a gym, and I'm eighteen. I'd be happy with either.
You shouldnt have expected them to give you a car. Youd be pretty lucky if you got a car and its not as if your parents are obliged to give their 16 year old a car. Take the gym membership. Be grateful
