Today, we were visiting my great-grandma, who has Alzheimer’s. We spent most of the day with her and she didn't know who we all were. Time came for us to leave so when I gave her a hug good-bye, she whispered into my ear, "You're my type." FML

well, she can't really be held accountable, so just accept it for the creepy moment that it was and move on.

I love people with Alzheimer's! I work with them at the nursing home I work for, oh man do they say the most random things. I crack up all day long. I have so many stories you wouldn't believe...

Maybe she meant you're the type of person with whom she'd be friends, or just someone with whom she thinks she has stuff in common. Doesn't have to mean she's hitting on you... clearly she thought you were nice. =) lol #36

This is the best FML that's been on here for a while. Favorited. Just push her off you, grab her Jell-o and leave. /not really.

The closest you are going to get to getting some this decade. Sad.

Try not to take things like that personally, Alzheimer's lowers the individual's inhibitions and makes them say and do inappropriate things, even to family members. Especially if she doesn't even remember that you're related to her. I have several distant relatives who have it.
