Today, while all the other marines got to fly around the island on a helicopter, I got stuck on gear guard. What was I guarding? The staff sergeant's parking spot. FML

I don't know about the marines, but I spent eight years in the army, and we always left the platoon fuckup guarding the gear... Just sayin... You may need to unfuck yourself, and then you may get to do stuff.

OP-Chesty Puller also said "you arent a real Marine till you've been NJP'd" so that ****** who slammed you for it obviously isnt one yet..if you arent strong enough in character to risk pissing someone off who may have more stripes than you, then I dont think you deserve to wear my uniform..

And yes, I slammed him for getting NJP-ed, but no, you are wrong. I served 6 years in, got out as a Sergeant, and spoke up plenty without getting my ass in trouble enough to warrant NJP. I'm pretty sure that if you dont know what you are talking about, you should keep your mouth shut- there is a difference in pissing someone off and assaulting an NCO. I'm sorry but if you are too dumb to see that then take off MY uniform.

I got an NJP while in the Corps for saying "what the **** is he staring at" regarding an Army SFC who ran his bus off the road cuz he was staring at me, the only female Marine on post. My CWO told me then what General Puller said- last I checked a SGT is outranked by a General so shut your trap SGT

I doubt your NJP was for "Assaulting an NCO," and there's probably more to the story than what you're letting on. Last time I checked, this wasn't an episode of JAG, and female devil dogs aren't worth staring at.

Two different Marines posting on here-and i definately discouraged my men from seeing me as a female, and didnt get any disrespect from them-my NJP was for "disrespect of a noncom" and it was just a pencil *******-went away when my post changed
