What the hell OP? When I worked at a job where we weren't allowed to accept tips, we accepted tips in secret! It's your right.

I think he or she checked company policy, which is why they were reporting the tip. Honestly, do people not read FMLs before they jump to conclusions?
I have had to sign contracts at some jobs,saying any gifts,tips or any type of gratuity would be given to the company. Also I was not allowed to have pockets
