You sound very stupid
That happened to me at Walmart every now and then when I worked as a cashier. People would offer to buy me a snack or soda, but I would always decline. It's not worth getting fired over.
You dumbass, you should have taken the ******* tip. What are you, too much of a rich-bitch to take it even if he's been THAT persistent about it? Just graciously accept it and don't be a ******* idiot. YDI all the way.
ydi for shying away from free money
YDI. You should have just accepted the tip without being a goody two-shoes! How would your manager have known?
Because it's entirely plausible that there were security cameras or witnesses? Or that the customer could return at a later date, and casually mention that they tipped OP for their good service, to a blabbermouth co-worker, or even to the manager himself? The amount of people on here who think "omg free money keep it wtf is wrong with you" clearly have no idea what they are talking about. Or maybe jobs have become very easy to come by, and that if you lose one over twenty bucks, it's a synch to find another one in this economy.
You're such an idiot if life gives you lemons, take those damn lemons smfh
