Today, while at work, I really had to pee. Since my break was soon, I decided to hold it as another customer came to my till, but I didn't see she had 3 trolleys full of food. It took ages to scan all of it, and when I left for my break, I had an empty bladder and a wet seat. FML

YDI! when you gotta go, you go.i contracted a kidney infection from holding my pee in at work a few years ago. and to the point of pissing yourself? i feel bad that you have may felt embarrassment, but you aren't a small child that wants to keep playing instead of going to the potty like a big kid.

it isn't a good thing at all if OP couldn't hold it in. and if you do hold it in so long that you wet yourself, you can contract urinary/kidney infections. it wasn't like OP wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom before break. they just chose not to.

oh by the way, you say what OP did was a good thing. i don't know about you, but i would not want anyone who has to go that badly risk wetting themselves on my account. I'm sure even the customer, had she or he known, would have totally understood. it generally takes less than 5 minutes too pee. that is a very long time to wait.

I completely agree. I find it extremely weird that op just allowed themselves to go, she should have just left if it was that bad. I'm not peeing my pants for anybody, they can wait. And as you mentioned, if Op always waits until the last minute than she could get a lot of issues by doing that.
