If it helps any, my uterus is in perfectly good nick but I still plan to adopt. I doubt I'm the only person who feels this way. Adoption isn't always the second choice. D:
He does this even work?
I'd think the red hair and pasty skin when your parents are black would've clued you in sooner...
Shhh *strokes face with foot* you're fine
That's unfair to you, your parents should've told you from the very start.
It's a difficult decision to know when a child will be able to deal with it properly. We did decide to tell our child from the earliest. We got a couple of child books and read stories about adoption and adopted kids. However, kids at school can be cruel and I know there were several occasions where he mentioned that he was adopted, only to have the kids make fun of him. Also, until very recently, society really did look down on adoption. If the parents were from that era, they may have been trying to spare their kid any embarrassment.
What's wrong with being adopted? My parents adopted me too! Best thing about it is that my parents chose me.
Dude I am with #1 on this... Good parents, who cares about the minor details...

Ya know what you can say? Your parents picked you, other people just get what comes out :)
Honestly who cares? They love you, you love them, their your parents and your still their son, just not genetically
