Today, while shopping, my six-year-old son threw a tantrum because I wouldn't buy him a video game. I ended up having to grab his arm and leave the store. He screamed that I was kidnapping him, at which point I was socked in the face and pinned to the floor by three bystanders. FML

Probably spoilt but a clever little bugger for sure! I can only congratulate you for that one. However it's going to be a story to tell for a lifetime. So funny... Try a raw steak on your eye... It'll help you get rid of the bruising

Wow, great kid NOT hope he got a good punishing for that stunt, I'd never take him out in public again, spoilt little shit!

So you know he did that on purpose.

You seriously need to beat the shit out of your child, there is no reason why a child should act this way. Take charge and don't let him act that way again.

THAT's your solution? Beat the crap out of a child?! Wow.

What they mean is do something the kid will really remember. Not grounding. The child must know that what he did was completely unacceptable. Something so serious as lying about being kidnapped should not happen at all and certainly not twice. OP, be glad you caught this at such a young age. You still can stop it.

It's nice to know people are willing to help in case a situation like that was ever real!

I'd kick my kids ass! If I did that when I was out with my parents oh boy I'd get the biggest ass whippin ever!

My mother would've beaten my arse if I had a tantrum, I could only imagine the whippin' I'd've gotten if I pulled that kidnapping stunt.

Well damn! You shoulda gotten him the video game!!

He doesn't deserve the video game after that stunt! You should never reward such bad behavior! What he deserves is a grounding and maybe even an ass beating! I have a four year old daughter and she knows better than to act up like that!

Oh gosh.... Teach your child some discepline
