To be technical, and this goes for all of the posters....it said "WE" decided to pledge not to have sex before marriage. Therefore...both him AND her haven't had sex yet. They pledged to each other not to have sex before married. It does not say "we pledged to not have sex with each other until marriage". It says "pledged to not have sex". Period. Both of them went into the marriage virgins.
