Uncertainty

Today, my parents bought me a wine glass with "Who needs a man?" painted all over it. Cute, until after dinner my mom looked me in the eyes and asked with complete sincerity, "Kara, are you gay?" My parents tried to get me to come out. I'm straight. FML

My parents ask me the same thing almost every week... I'm straight too :(

Yeah, FYL for having parents who are accepting about that. /sarcasm All you had to say was "no" and that's the end. Be thankful you don't have those parents who would disown you if you were.

At least you're not gay, and thats what counts.

That's evil, but guys are to. No win situation.

what you don't know is your parents just what to get hot looking at you makeout with your partner. jking lol

Your names kara? I love that name! Parents are always trying to figure out their kids out regardless of age. Ignore them, they'll learn

They'll leave you alone once you give them grandchildren.

No worries. It's no one's business 'cept yours and your partners. I wish everyone would just stop telling people what they were, because the way i see it, relationships are should be like Vegas... what happens behind closed doors, should stay there.

FYL, but your parents sound nice lol like that mustve been uncomfortable for you but still lol

I agree with #1. At least she didn't start crying like the other Mom; or flip out unnecessarily. FYL still though.

Too bad you're not gay, they are better people than everyone else-how many wars have gays started? None. F all you homophobes. Obama needs to write a law banning criticism of gays. I'm done with you hate mongers
