You are lucky OP. If your company is huge sue them for a few million dollars and teach them a lesson.
That's the problem with these kinds of situations. Sexual harassment claims turn into a battle of He Said/She Said, and most HR departments find it easier to label it as a waste of time rather than actually dealing with it.
But the presumption of innocence should go both ways. If they have to assume that the accused is innocent of sexual harassment without any evidence that says otherwise, they should also assume that the OP isn't intentionally trying to cause trouble and just misunderstood a well meaning gesture. Punishing someone who makes a complaint will only discourage people from reporting these issues.
I smell a lawsuit
The reason you were ACTUALLY fired: Women who cry sexual harassment are a huge freaking liability.
No, they are counting that time and firing her preemptively.
So am I the only one thinking the complain OP filed as sexual harassment went like this: coworker: hi OP you look beautiful today. OP:OMHGERD LIKE WTF PERVERT RAPIST ANIMAL HORNDOG HEEEEELP?
This sucks. Even if you sue it won't be pleasant, as they'll probably drag you through as much mud as possible in court. That said, it's definitely worth it because you almost certainly have a good case. Sexual harassment deserves WAY more attention than it generally gets, especially in the workplace. I wish you luck, both in court and in life.
I'd definitely sue...
Ohhhhh, your lawyer is gonna love that
Time to call a lawyer!

This is definitely grounds for a lawsuit. Wow.
Fight it, OP.
