Weird excuse

Today, my Christian boyfriend of six months broke up with me. I had told him when we started dating that I was an atheist, and he only now decided to look up what it meant. He gave me a Bible. FML

#14, atheism IS believing that God does not exist. Believing in nothing, or being unsure are forms of agnosticism. #36, you're rude and the comment was completely disgusting.

even though i'm a christian and will only date other christians, i must say your ex is a complete ass. he obviously doesn't deserve you if he's stupid enough not to know what atheism is...honestly. go find someone better.

As an atheist, I would have never gotten into a relationship with a Christian in the first place. I guess opposites attract, but those are two extreme opposites. Go find yourself another that doesn't believe in god or at least someone who doesn't know what to think (agnostic) or someone who just doesn't care (non-religious/apathetic).

I'm sorry, but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Next time, date someone smarter. What an idiot. Just for the record, I'm Catholic, and my last boyfriend was what we referred to as "Jewtheist" (jewish atheist). It worked just fine, we dated for over a year, and we're still great friends. It is possible, fear not!
