It really is a stupid thing to do. But I'd be lying if I said I've never done something similar. Just aren't paying attention. This is a double FML. 1 for burning yourself and 2 for how annoyed you are at yourself for doing it.

I've done something similar with a cookie pan. Except I didn't know it was hot. Maybe you shouldn't multitask next time you're cooking or use two oven mitts.
