Today, I proposed to my girlfriend from the top of a bungee jumping platform at an amusement park. I yelled out, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" from the platform, pointing her out. Turns out, I was pointing at the wrong girl. My girlfriend was very angry and ran away when the wrong girl yelled, "Yes!" FML

I hope the other is as hot as your now "ex" becuae you are stuck with her for life. oh and by the way tell you "ex" to put some big girl pants on and not be so rediculously sensitive. get over your self lady it's not thy big of a deal, could have been a funny story to tell the grand kids.

C-c-c-c-combo breaker. xD I agree people should at least try to use legible spelling and grammar, but obviously, I can't control everyone, so it's really much simpler to ignore comments you don't like. 92: No! I want a cookie. ;) haha.

Uhhh.. I have no idea, actually. xD I think they have for a while. Idk, I got a carmel sundae and the 3/$1 chocolate chip cookies, xD. They're not that good though. Mrs. Field's cookies are way better. :) hahah.

106: Haha, I'm too cheap for a mcflurry. Sundae's are on the dollar menu. Also, that's pretty much the only thing I order there, and that's not very often, lol.

Back_in_action: thanks for your opinion, but we aren't even talking on the first comment. Chill. I wasn't even going to reply anymore regardless, but now i feel it is necessary. Love the suggestion of a PM, but the app doesn't allow for it. And I'm not going to bother going on my computer or using safari, because frankly, I don't care enough to. (No offense imnotthatrandom) At this point, this FML is almost at the bottom of the first page, and I don't know about anyone else but I rarely if ever, look at FMLs beyond the first page of updates. So really, it's not that big of a deal.

I'm thinking that if your girlfriend broke up with you for accidentally pointing to the wrong girl when you are proposing from a high platform, she wasn't going to say yes any way, so you shouldn't feel to bad on that note. However, I will say you are a bit of an idiot for proposing that way because many girls would be extremely embarrassed to be put on the spot that way. Not to mention how embarrassed you would have been if everything had gone to plan and she had still said no to you in front of all those people. Still though FYL because things didn't work out for you.

That's an.. interesting way to propose. 0.o But just talk to her and explain. It was an honest mistake. Unless your girl is a brunette and you pointed out a a blonde... Then you are screwed.

Although this all could have been avoided if you had just said her name along with your proposal, it IS the thought that counts. Therefore, you should be grateful you pointed to the wrong person. That's a pretty ridiculous reason to break up with someone. "You couldn't recognize me from 150 ft (?) off the ground. We're over." I'm hoping this is a fake, otherwise this poor guy proposed to a psycho who doesn't understand human limitations!
