Today, I was talking to my boyfriend and he brushed my hair out of my eyes. Then he smiled and said, "Your eyes are two different colors right now. One's blue, one's green…" I was so happy he still noticed the little things. Then he finished his sentence with, "…ya know, like a dog." FML

That's awful!!! Talk to him about it. Tell him that it hurt your feelings. I can't believe other people are being so unsympathetic. OK boys, referring to your girlfriend as a dog is a HUGE insult. Don't do it. Dogs are beautiful but no girl wants to be called a Bitch.

ok that's not a fml at all, it's just kinda funny and pathetic, it'd be more of a fml for the boyfriend if anything. It reminds me of this one time, when my friend was trying really hard to compliment a girl he really liked and told her her eyes were amazing, that they almost looked like planets... unfortunately he chose Uranus as his planet of comparison. Keep in mind we were all about 12/13 at the time, so it made it that much more disastrous. .... I have to admit it does have some comedic value though

LOL! Dogs with two dif. colored eyes are awesome! #54 - He wasn't calling her a dog or even referring to her as one... he was comparing them, but not saying she is one. Just saying her eyes are like that.

#56 It doesn't matter. In the end, any sentence that ends with "...like a dog." ,"...as a dog", or anything with dog in it when comparing or referring to your girlfriend should probably not be said. I still say, talk to him about it, he might be as clueless as these people and not realize he hurt your feelings. Good luck with training your man. You know, like a dog.

Geez. That doesn't make it a bad thing; he's just making a connection between two things. It's not like he's thinking of you as a dog. Plus, I'd be so happy to have different colored eyes, anyways.
