Wrong end of the stick

Today, while teaching my kindergarten class, I had a feeling I was starting my period again. A boy in the class asked me what a period was. Stressing over my own, I briefly told him it's a woman's time of the month when they have mood swings. He was asking about the dot at the end of a sentence. FML

Thinking that a kindergartner was asking about your period was pretty retarded.

To be fair to #5, a lot of women do need to realize the world doesn't revolve around them cause they have their periods. So do the rest of us at certain times. Take a midol and get over it. I can't stand when some chicks pout about shit we all deal with.

#25, agreed. I had my period continuously for two to three months. It never stopped. Yet I didn't act like a raging bitch, even though it was annoying. A period is no excuse. We all have different shit to deal with while on it.

But that being said, #5, your comment was not sarcastic nor comedic. You're just saying that because some people flipped out on you. If you think you have the balls to say something in the first place, at least be man enough to stand by your point.

#5/11, go have a wank already and then maybe you'll feel better. Those of us with some common sense know how it is when you're preoccupied with something... if someone brings up the word/topic, your mind is already there and you take it in that context. It happens all the time. Just sucks that it happened to be that topic to that person! FYL!

I don't understand how a "teacher" could mistake a toddler's question about a period, for something involving a woman's menstrual cycle. Obviously not a true FML (otherwise you wouldn't be teaching children).

28~ actually being that effing dumb probably is the reason she teaches children and not older kids who can call her out on being a moron. YDI, have fun with the phone call from that kid's over reactive parent.

i really don't know why you you would tell a kindergartener in the first place. that's what sexual education is for in middle school.

I'm betting you're the kind of teacher that flies off the handle during their periods? =P
