Id told him, u need something bigger to chop this fu kin dick off..
This is how pretty much every father that loves his daughter reacts to her having a boyfriend. At least he cares about his daughter's well-being. Don't let him psyche you out though, that'll just prove to her father that you're a wimp that's undeserving of her anyway (:
dads say the darndest things
What if the OP's name was Dick and the father was saying "If you hurt my daughter, you get a free machete"?
It could have been worse, he could have told you not to touch his daughter
Yea and if your girlfriend's father assaults you with a machete, you would have the ability to take away his freedom.
And get ur dick chopped off
Just bring a bigger knife next time you go to your girlfriends
I'd agree with many above, he didn't run you off, tell you not to touch her, etc. Basically, he gave you approval to date her. But don't be a prick. I'm sure he's sane enough not to use the machete on you, but there are plenty of other anonymous ways to make your life hell. This is coming from someone who has made it a habit to have to clean his .300 Win rifle when my stepdaughter brings guys home. I haven't done anything to them, nor would I, but it's a nice little reminder.
Hopefully they see right through your facade and laugh at you behind your back.
