You what now?

Today, I informed my grandparents of my upcoming graduation from college. My grandma looked at me with tears in her eyes, and told me how proud she was that I was able to make it so far in spite of being autistic. I am not, nor have I ever been autistic. FML

your grandma rules! how awkward are you that your grandma thinks you're autistic ?

Maybe they're autistic and it runs in the family?? Or, maybe they just assumed you were from your behavior! Either way, that kind of sucks to be told that.

ask ur parents. maybe u are and never told u. there is so many versions of it

sounds like your parents have some explaining to do

FYI autism can't be cured. And there is nothing wrong with autistic people. I myself am 1. I was always picked on because of it. And not all autistic people are dumb. The problem is society is focussing on what people can't do instead of the positive sides.

people don't recover from autism, idiot. its permanent.

My older sister happens to have Asperger's syndrome, and she's probably smarter than I am. She just has a difficult time socializing with her peers.
