That is sort of like locking ur self inside a car with the keys on the outside I saw it on famly guy once
Well if I open my car that way, the alarm goes off and I can't start the car. It only accepts electronic unlock
That's one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard.
There was a story I saw on the news that featured a woman who had locked herself in the car. They played the recording of the conversation she had with the 911 operator. It was hysterical because she sounded so panicked, yet completely sober.
Wow this is happening to so many people! I was catching up on my FML reading, and, I swear I saw a comment on an FML about this same thing... Someone commented under #1 talking about a lady whose clicker died and called someone to break into it... I wonder if it's the same person...rotf I'm looking at it right now on my iPod. That was under the fml about the Canadian who double-tapped on the picture in a picture album to try to zoom in forgetting it was not digital... but that was back in early feb. (double checked, the 10th of Feb. Not the same exact thing, but close. why are so many people forgetting about physical keys, and getting locked out of their cars because of dead batteries?)
Haha, I think I saw that news story! And #60, I saw that comment too. It would be so funny if the same person posted the fml. It doesn't have to really happen on the same day you posted it...
Technology at its finest, we are getting more dependent all the time
More details #60 Not enough.
I can't open my car with my key either. Unless i didn't enable my security system when i locked it the last time. My car beeper thing died on me once after work and I tried to use just the key. The alarm went off and I tried to start the engine anyway, but it wouldn't start. Luckily I work close to a Target, so I walked to it and bought a new battery. I keep an extra battery in my purse now for whenever this happens again. I might not be so lucky to be near a store.
Wow..
Dude that was on last night lol
This FML sucks!!!!
My friend said they see me doing that
How do you send messages
Good job for realising that! ;)
*claps slowly* :P
This is not sad or a stupid mistake. It is totally understandable that if you use the same action every day for a preticular reaction to occur, that it would take a few minutes for anyone to switch gears and realize something like, the clicker you've been using every day as a clicker is also a key. Thumbs up if you've done this before, show a little support for OP.
53, this isn't youtube where you ask for thumbs up.
and i thought i was dependent on technology!
Car key clickers killed the car key hole spot.
Proof again that advancements in technology are making people more stupid.
More stupid? Isn't that stupider!? Lawl Oh wait..
#47 they realized that.... Hence the "oh wait" part
i know. but i may be biased, never owned a vehicle with fancy buttons to unlock my doors!
That's what she said........
Haha my mum did that once and she got pissed at me because I just stood there laughing and I didn't tell her she actually had a key she could insert Into the car
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it, Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it, Snap it, work it, quick - erase it, Write it, cut it, paste it, save it, Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it, Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it, Drag and drop it, zip - unzip it, Lock it, fill it, call it, find it, View it, code it, jam - unlock it, Surf it, scroll it, pause it, click it, Cross it, crack it, switch - update it, Name it, rate it, tune it, print it, Scan it, send it, fax - rename it, Touch it, bring it, Pay it, watch it, Turn it, leave it, start - format it. Technologic.
too many commands at once....you just made me blue screen
Not sure why but your comment is really fun to read
Oh thanks! It's because it's a fun song to hear! Sorry for your screen Pentium_4, here is an internet waffle for you. >(^_^)>#
#56 Well, we are human after all, but you have to try it one more time harder, better, faster, stronger!
7, great comment! (: I love that song! The first time I heard it, it was so suck in my mind that I continued to hear it days after, even when my radio was off. :P
The amount of effort put into this comment astounds me, but... I think it was worth it!
This is just as bad as all the elderly who refuse to use modern technology.
Well, it is the elderly people's choice if they want to be modernised.
I didn't think that this would be necessary, but I trust all of you understand that I'm speaking about the elderly who refuse to use modern technology, not all senior citizens.
It's sad how people rely on technology nowadays.
We're following the path of every science fiction hypothesis of robot takeover out there. Oh the misery!
Wow...thats pretty sad. We should rely less on technology and actually do things the right way
"work smarter, not harder". Relying less on technology is not the answer but more so understanding that its not always the solution! Stupidity is the problem in today's world.
19, nicely put. Also, 13--what is doing things "the right way"? Using a key to unlock your car is not really making a big statement against technology. Walking or riding a bicycle might be.
