Today, I confronted my girlfriend over how she and a male friend have been going out together, drinking and partying, and at one point holding hands in the street. She angrily accused ME of cheating, because "confronting people like that" is apparently something only cheaters themselves do. FML

Today, I saw my girlfriend walking hand-in-hand down the street with another man. When I confronted her, she claimed she had no idea who I was, and the guy told me to beat it. Later on, she returned to our apartment and actually tried to act as if nothing had happened. FML

Today, I confronted my girlfriend after catching her cheating on me. After she finished crying, she had the brass balls to say she'd understand if I needed a couple of weeks to forgive her, and asked me for bus fare so she could go tell the other guy they could only be friends now. FML

Today, I went to a club with my girlfriend and her buddies. An hour in, I saw her making out with a guy on the dance floor, so I confronted her. She stormed off to the bar and said something to her friend, who then came over and angrily slapped me across the face. Yeah, I'm confused too. FML

Today, my girlfriend accused me of cheating after she read some of my messages I sent to an old female friend. Apparently I'm very flirty with her. I showed her the same kind of messages that I sent to my guy friends as well. Now I'm apparently gay and cheating. FML

Today, at a bar, a drunk girl kissed me, so I went home and confessed what happened to my girlfriend. She forgave me but took it as permission to admit she’s cheated sexually at least once a month for over a year, then got mad I didn’t immediately forgive her like she forgave me. FML

Today, two months after forgiving my girlfriend for breaking my heart by cheating on me, I found out that she's cheating again with the same guy. When I confronted her, she basically said I brought it on myself and that I was an idiot for not dumping her the first time. FML

The fact that somebody is seriously saying the OP should try and work things out with his girlfriend after she cheated on him and then accused him of cheating just makes me wonder how somebody can be so void of logic in their thinking. When somebody cheats, it's over. You go and find better. You can find somebody who won't cheat on you. You shouldn't stay with a person as shitty as that.

Why is everyone saying ditch her? Maybe first find out if she is actually cheating? If she tells you and you know that they have been partying, etc. it does not equal cheating since she is not exactly sneaking behind your back. You could just confront her about getting maybe too close and that you are uncomfortable about it. Or find out if she is actually cheating?

In her defense, cheaters do tend to accuse others of cheating because they know it from themselves. This has happened very often in the past.

She is going out repeatedly with another male friend, and has been expressing affections (hand holding). If she respected you one bit, she would NOT be out with other men, NOR showing affections for them. Dump Her. NOW.
