It's always sad to see gay teens who feel like they have to pretend to be straight. It's no good for him and it's no good for you and it's just a crappy situation all around. Maybe you can help him realize he doesn't have to live a lie. I'm sorry for you that your relationship won't work out, but how many teenage ones do?
