Advent calendar time!

Today, I was out selling Christmas-themed calendars for charity door-to-door. I rang a doorbell and a wild-eyed man appeared at the door, shouted about being "on nights" and that I'd woken him up, called me a "bell end", threw a newspaper at me and slammed the door in my face. FML

No clue why some people think YDI. I understand how he feels since I sometimes work the night shift, but even then, it is not your fault. It is not like you were expected to know who will be answering the door, right?

Well it is annoying no matter what you're selling or wanting. People will give when they want to they don't need people breathing down their necks.

It's not the U.S. or Middle East... I can't imagine that being very likely in the U.K... (Or most other Western Democracies other than America for that matter).
