Did you chase them down and beat the shit out of them until you got their names? Or at least followed them home to tell their parents?
(I'm #26) @27 - MOST of the male commenters in this thread know nothing about expensive clothing, females, and fashion. Therefore, they have nothing to contribute because 1) Bleach + $200 dress is automatic fail and 2) getting red shit poured over an expensive dress does not make it a "lovely $200 red dress."
#47. People are just making jokes about a $200 red dress. Get over it. Also, instead of coming on FML to bitch about getting dye poured on you why didn't you do something about it like get the police or talk to the people.
Don't you know you're not supposed to wear white after Labor Day or before Memorial Day?
Yeah, $200 dollar dress usually means very delicate material and dry clean only. Bleach may not be an option. Of course, if it's simply designer linen, that's another story. Similarly, on the dye - not all fabrics take dye equally, and if the dress involved lace, detailing, beading, draped fabric, etc., dying it red may not be an option either. A good dry cleaner's on your attackers' dime is probably the best option. As for why she was walking in the park in an expensive dress, maybe she just left a formal event somewhere else. For that matter, maybe there was an outdoor wedding or a photo shoot in the park. Or maybe she was heading to a taxi stand. It doesn't sound that implausible.
That does suck ): But I have to wonder what you were wearing the dress for, since it wasn't important enough to mention? If you were going to/coming from a formal event, I feel for you, and FYL - but if you were just showing off your $200 dress, YDI. Don't wear expensive clothes for a walk in the park.

Sue for damages, if the blokes had any decency they would have offer to pay for a new one anyway.
On a side note who walkes around with a thing of red liquid just incase you see someone you know?
