Birthday Girl

Today, it's my birthday. I got just three calls all day. The first one was my fiancé, saying he wanted his ring back. The second one was my best friend, confessing to me that she had been sleeping with my fiancé for the past three months. The third was the dentist's office, to sing me a happy birthday. FML

That is absolutley terrible! Your fiancee is an ASSHOLE. Make sure he knows that. What a man ***** for doing that. Your best friend? Probably the sluttiest ***** I've ever heard of. I hope you kept the ring but still are not going to marry that penis head that calls himself a man.

Sell the ring and keep the money. It's worth more than him and your "best friend" combined. (Actually, they're worthless.) And obviously, don't talk to either one of them anymore. It's pretty shitty you have to give the ring back, since I believe it is illegal in most states to keep the ring after calling off an engagement or your ex can sue. But sorry this post seems to horrible to be real, but if it is, well then.... wow that sucks

That REALLY sucks. You should return the ring, though; it's almost certainly a valuable piece of jewelry. HOWEVER, say you will return it when he presents himself to you and says exactly why he wants it back. Once you give it back to him, you'll be able to start forgetting him; a vacation bought on the money the ring is worth would only end up hurting.

Depends on who called off the wedding and why. The ring is a promise that they will get married. If the guy calls it off, the girl is supposed to sell it to pay for any arrangements that have been made that they still have to pay for. If the girl calls it off, she has to give back the ring as she is the one that broke the promise. In this case the guy broke the promise by cheating, so she gets to keep the ring.
