Today, while I was removing my makeup with my boyfriend watching, he mentioned that he used to think girls were prettier without makeup on, but he'd now changed his mind. FML

To all who say girls look better without makeup: When applied less skillfully, the make-up makes the girl look like a doll without a facial expression. And too much black/dark around the eyes, which has been fashionable for a long time, is ugly, i grant you. However, when the make-up is applied skillfully, you don't realize that it's there. Only if you actually see the girl remove her makeup, like OP's somewhat ungalant boyfriend did, will you discover that the make-up actually made a difference, in a good way.

He probably meant that he likes natural looking makeup. Most of my guy friends and my boyfriend can't tell the difference. I'm sure you do look pretty without any makeup on, so ignore him :)

This guy is an idiot. You never offend a girl, even if she does look bad in make-up you just don't. It's like the classic "do these pants make my butt look big" scenario
