wheeeey!
Well most cats aren't declawed and people don't normally mention when there not because a normal cat has claws and you should expect that. YDI
It's been hot in southern California, and it's summer in the southern hemisphere :/ Edit: This was supposed to be @34
Why would you assume that the cat was declawed? Its horribly cruel. Declawing a cat is like cutting off your fingers and toes at the first joint. That's what they do, they cut off part of the toe. The vat has to walk unnaturally and could have back problems for life, as well as many other problems.
actually they don't get back problems anymore, American vets have learned overtime how to make it so the cats can't get hurt or have any problems after.
Why would you assume that the cat was declawed??? That's horrible! YDI. And if you don't think you're capable enough to give a pill to a cat (which is something I did when I was 8 to my less-than-friendly cat, so honestly it's not that difficult), you should've asked him to show you before accepting to do it.
It might have been wise to check the claw situation BEFORE shoving chemicals down the mouth of a territorial carnivore who doesn't know you.
Cats are amazing, but they must hate you. FYL big time :)
I grind up the pill and mix it up with some tuna. Otherwise it's too easy to eat around the pill.
A lot of people don't declaw their cats. Its the exact same thing as chopping off the tips of your fingers at the joint below the nail. Its also really hard to find a vet that will declaw a cat because many of them consider it ethically wrong. YDI for automatically assuming that a cat will have been declawed.

Surely you should assume that all cats have claws until proven otherwise?
Is it the norm for cats to be "declawed" over there? How mean.
