Some might think he was masturbating... I myself think he was actually watching ****. Generally movie channels like Golden and TNT transmit **** late at night so it might explain my theory. Either way, it sucks your parents busted you man! They should be more considerate, because probably they wanted to wake you up, and it still might suck that you got sleep deprivation.
