They don't live 6 years around here. SQUISH!
I used to be severely arachnaphobic. A friend brought a tarantula into my house one day. I saw it, jumped backwards into a bookshelf, then turned and ran to the furthest room, curled into a ball, and shook while crying and sucking my thumb. I decided enough was enough. I now have a tattoo of three spiders on my left arm and play with small ones before releasing them out of my house. I'm considering getting a rose haired tarantula as a pet.
ew the thought of u playing with them just made me shiver. I hate them.
spiders are awesome...
What's the matter with you people? Spiders Rock!! 1) They Kill bugs with no purpose except to bug you. (Yes pun intended!) 2) They spin those fantastic works of art call webs.
Or you could all just get a cat. Cats like to eat anything small that they see moving. Probably only best for the UK though cos we don't have poisonous spiders here.
Fun fact of the day! On average humans swallow 8 spiders a year...the reason they crawl into your mouth when your sleeping. this is a true statement
spiders rule! i
Someone already brought this up, but that really is a myth. It's not that bugs and spiders never crawl into your mouth while you're sleeping, but for the most part they stay away because of survival instincts. Also, those "statistics" are based on more than just one or two countries. Countries that have much less elaborate housing are including in the research, so that brings up those numbers. Personally I know for a fact I've never eaten any manner of 6 or 8 legged creature. If I feel anything on my face when I'm sleeping, I wake up immediately and get it away from my face because it annoys me. Not once in my 22 years has it been a spider or anything like it.
To poke further holes in the myth, how would anyone know how many spiders a person has eaten in his/her sleep? There's no realistic or reliable way to track something like that in order to come up with an average.

why did I have to read this right before I go to bed...
It's ok OP, I have an irrational phobia of owls... yet my favorite place to eat is Hooters... the irony makes me ashamed of myself :(
