Today, while on the train to university, I realized it was my stop and quickly stood up to get off. Or I would have, if my leg hadn't gone to sleep and caused me to fall, landing face first into the crotch of the old guy in front of me. FML

Today, I was on the train to work. I was up late the night before, causing me to doze off. When I woke up, I was at my station. I stood up, went to walk out of the door and fell flat on my face on a platform full of people. Someone had tied my shoelaces together. FML

Today, on the bus, water kept dripping on my head so I stood up to move. As I got up, the bus turned round a corner and I fell over into a man's lap. When I tried to get up, I slipped down between his legs. FML

Today, I was on a train when an old man standing next to me very obviously checked me out, caught my eye, and winked. He spent the next five minutes rubbing his penis against my leg. When I turned to tell him off, the train lurched, and the old man fell face first into my breasts. FML

Today, I was sitting waiting for my train for a long while. When it finally came, I had pins and needles in my foot. When I got up, I fell and unsuccessfully stumbled towards the train. The doors closed and it left without me. FML

Today, I was on the subway when I felt like I was going to faint. I got off the train at the next stop, walked to a bench, but fell over and passed out. When I woke up, I looked around at at least 25 people, who had stepped around me, passed out, in the middle of the platform. FML

Today, I went on a busy train. I packed myself in close to a very good looking woman and, too scared to say anything, looked out the window. After feeling a hand on my ass, I assumed it was her. To not ruin the moment, I didn't look back. After a few stops, I looked back. It was an old man. FML

What's up with all these people who don't feel their body parts going to sleep. Usually, limbs fall asleep when they are in the same position for a while. But don't you feel when something is falling asleep??? I have never had any of my body part fall asleep without me feeling that it's happening. Then you just shift, or change your position, or move. Did you just sit there and let it fall asleep, OP? Then why were you surprised when you fell over?

I've had my leg fall asleep without realizing it before. Well, I realized it when I moved it about...ohhhhh.... A millimeter and an immense tingling pain shot through my leg.

No you don't feel it fall asleep. Usually, if you sit with a foot on the other knee or legs crossed, even for a short while, you obstruct the blood flow to your nerves. When you move (getting up to walk), the nerves, being temporarily disabled, can't feel when you touch the ground. It feels like you missed the ground when you try to walk and you tend to fall while waiting for the foot to touch. Picture one foot falling through the ice. I'll shut up now. :)

I think 33 meant that before you click/tap on an FML to read the comments, the OP's gender is not apparent and they were silently hoping they are female before they clicked.
