who honeymoons at home? cuz I'm pretty sure if you were honeymooning at a hotel/resort/ect they wouldn't allow you to install the clapper no matter the reason.

There's no installation involved. You plug it into an outlet, then plug whatever you want to operate into it. You don't need permission to plug something in at a hotel or resort.
