Never make someone choose between you and the pet they probably had before they knew you, and who will still love them after your relationship ends. Either take some antihistimines and deal with it, or accept defeat now.
yeah, my Mom's allergist "strongly recommended" she get rid of her cats. instead... she kept them and built up a tolerance.
I'm sorry to break it to you, but your relationship will not work if he's that attached to that cat and you;'re allergic to it.
That's kinda cute....for one night. Hopefully he'll get used to it soon.
I agree with #2 & 13 this was just once, and if that happened to me I would probably do the same thing. Not because the cat was "sad" but just cuz i'd want to cuddle with him. I would not do it all the time though, just once, especially if i had gotten used to sleeping with mah kitty
17- I'm with you. I would do this. Your boyfriend is the one who's sad, and he just misses the cat. It isn't an FML. If he did this EVERY night, maybe then it'd be an FML.
Aww, your boyfriend is a sweetheart.

That's pretty harsh but I wouldn't call this a FML unless he continually gets out of bed in the middle of the night to sleep with the cat.
