I used to work with a girl who planned the way that her boyfriend would propose to her. I don't mean that she dreamed about how it would be; I mean that she actually planned and scheduled it and told her boyfriend, "This is what you are going to do." It sounds like this girl might be the same kind of entitled control freak. Now is the time to run. Seriously. If you marry a girl who cries for FOUR HOURS because your amazing proposal wasn't exactly what she wanted, then I can guarantee that nothing you do will ever be good enough.
What a bitch... I'd be so happy if my boyfriend proposed to me in such a surprising way.
If she's that high maintenance, end it.
wow, what a high-maintenance BITCH
Wow.....all i have to say is f*** her!

she should have been thankful, because that's incredibly sweet. i don't understand the obsession with proposals as long as you're genuinely in love and propose in a way that shows you care.
I've only known one other person who had a fiance who bitched about the WAY her boyfriend proposed. She turned out to be insane, and they ended up splitting up. If she's seriously going to cry because you didn't propose how she wanted you to, it's time to break up.
