Hopefully in this case MIL is neither very smart phone literate nor realized what she saw or why she saw them. Just assume this is the case. Even if MIL understood what happened she probably doesn’t want to talk or think about it… As a general idea - when you show someone something on your phone or tablet - keep the device in your hand. That way this is less likely to happen and if it did you can take the device back and correct the situation… Even better, just email or text or IM a link to what you wanted them to see.
