Totally not OP's fault. He never said he thought that the girl was ugly, or called the girl ugly or disfigured. Clearly she still looked presentable, since she was out at a club and the bouncer didn't say anything about it (as far as we know). The odds are much higher that an ID photo that doesn't match the person is because of a fake, not because of a car crash that left her disfigured. Also, even if none of that were true, it's not the bouncer's job to preserve feelings, only security.
it' so pointless to type down here. if you not the first 10 posts, your not gettin read. on another note, how ****** up did this girls face get. i would imagine pretty ****** up if she didn't remotely look like her I.D. pic
that's horrible!
You should have been like, "In your FACE, sucka!" No that would have made it worst. Seriously though, you couldn't have known. That dude could have played you too. So with this in mind, don't take it too seriously and don't be so gullible. Call a spade a spade, dude, and if someone gives you mouth, just use your best judgment, as you just did.
not really your fault... its your job to try to detect fakes, and it could have easily been one.
I agree with #130, How on gods earth were you suppose to know about her persona life and the shit that happens. Yes its upsetting i would feel like shit 2 but You did what you had 2 and no one can hold you accountable for what youve done. I wouldnt even if i was that girl's friend.
Good on you I say. You just saved some dude from making a horrible drunken mistake that he would regret in the morning.
@#2, the op wasn't judging her. it's not like he said "haha, she got in a car accident! what a loser!" or anything like it. and all you people who says "YDI" need to grow up. just because her feelings got hurt, does not mean he did it on purpose or could have prevented it in any way. it sucks that she was in an accident, and it sucks she was disfigured, but if you're checking ids to get into a club and someone gives you an id with a picture that looks completely different than what they look like in person, you're obviously going to question the id's validity.

Not your fault. You didn't know.
Well then she should have updated her I.D.
