Gullible

Today, I came home from out of state. I found out someone online had told my husband that the "fumes" from hot showers can be lethal. As a precaution, he removed the draft-blocking bathroom door to make sure it's "properly ventilated." FML

I'm sorry but if your husband doesn't know what steam is, then it's time to trade him in.

Dry oFf in the shower, opening thr curtain as little as possible. Solve the problem of being cold after the shower. As for pooping, it will only hurt him.

Haha! Someone needs to take a science class!! But all joking aside, just treat him seriously. Don't make him feel stupid. Just fix the problem maturely. :)

I'm inclined to believe this..I leave some pretty lethal fumes in the toilet myself...

Ok...nobody could possibly be that ******* stupid! I don't want to live on this planet anymore!

It would depend on how it's worded. There was a huge scare awhile back when some troll started warning people about the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide, which is found in every home. He used several bad examples of what it can be used for, etc and scared a load of people. Dihydrogen monoxide is a fancy name for water. So if the person talking to OP's husband called it "dihydrogen monoxide fumes" and OP's husband isn't up to scratch on his science...

What happened to just leaving the door open?

Its actually true, the fumes from hot showers can be leather. But only in ONE way. If you don't properly air our the bathroom (leaving a window or door slightly cracked open) after hot showers, the humidity will cause mold to grow. Which can cause fetal illnesses, but it takes YEARS for it to happen, and weeks of no proper ventilation to cause the molds. And even if you don't ventilate often and mold grows, you can always get rid of it with proper cleaning.

Nooooo! I meant to thumb down! Not up! /face palm

But why would you do that? She is trying to warn us about fetal illnesses from leather fumes!

Well that's not the ONLY way... chlorine gas turns to chloroform when heated to 41 degrees Celsius.

LOL, you should replace your current husband with a model who can think for himself :) If my GF ever did that (fell for that), I'd tell her to fix everything up or get the **** out of my life... She would get 3 minutes to finish either one of them.
