Hell no

Today, I got into my first car accident. Extremely upset, I called my parents, because it was their car and I didn't know what to do. I told them what happened, and asked if they were on their way to where I was. My dad's response was, "Hell no, we're eating dinner." FML

#7... uh yeah, most people get into at least one car accident in their life. they didnt say how bad the accident was though. you dont NEED the police for a fender bender if you are prepared and understand what to do (get info, name, license etc). and you def dont need to be tying up 911 with your call. the accident didnt sound serious so dont call 911 lol.

you must be joking? in america you dial 911 for an accident, where clearly no-one is hurt?????!!! Man there must be nothing that goes on that's actually serious there. Deal with it; call the local police if you have to (i.e. someone else is involved). Call a tow company if its damaged bad. You expect your parents to come? Why? If you're old enough to drive, you're old enough to deal with an accident. What can they do to help? Why did you ring them expecting them to come, and then ask if they were on their way, if you want them to come, ask them if they will come, not if they are already coming. You arrogant, self-absorbed idiot! YDI for sure.

You don't know how old this person is, they could've gotten they're license a month ago, they could be fifteen or sixteen, calling your parents when you get in an accident is the first thing other than calling 911, depending on how bad the accident is, no matter how bad it is, your first one is always the scariest, either your not old enough to drive or you've never been in an accident, either way, you're an asshole.

well idc if this is fake or not, but i know what it's like to get in a car accident. sometimes it's just comforting to call your parents (especially if you're a young driver) or sometimes you need to be picked up because your car won't run. i know what that's like, im sorry
