If you were shaken up, ringing them is fair enough. But it was a tiny bit self-involved to assume they would spring up from what they were doing and be getting ready to come get you as you were talking.
Uhm... You're not old enough to drive. Get off the roads. I don't want to drive around knowing we have people like you on the road. And besides, what kind of accident? Did you drive into something, someone? Did someone hit you? What happened? If it was your fault, clean up your own mess. If it was someone else's fault, call the police and then call your parents if they're nearby and -ask- them to come and get you. You don't say "Are you on your way" and take them for granted like that.
Looks like your dad was REAL helpful there....
Erm why aren't you just thankful that he doesn't want to kill you for crashing his car?
Aw, poor thing. My first (and thankfully only so far) car accident scared the hell out of me and I called my dad in tears after someone had passed by and stopped to help us (he called the police). I feel soooo sorry for you, I didn't ask my dad to come down but he was still very supportive and even payed for the tow truck over the phone. FYL and I hope you're okay.
god you guys are so rude! when i got into an accident i called my parents, and they were on their way straight away, it doesn't mean i'm spoilt or self absorbed geesh and OP FYL that sucks
wow hopefully he was kidding... what a douche
#26, you probably asked in a nice way? or even asked? My parents would come straight away too, I'm just appalled by the OP expecting it on the phone! And also that people here suggest 911 should be called - what a waste of the emergency services! Dial local police, don't busy the emergency services!
