trust me, I have insomnia too, run a good distance 3 hours before you go to bed, you'll drop dead on your mattress when you go to bed
pepermint tea helps with insomnia Hun and lavender all natural herbs :) your won't have nothin to worry about .. cheww on leaves or drink tea!!
Peppermint is actually a stimulant, more likely to keep you awake...
this is like the fourth fml I've read that the adult is afraid that a relative might get addicted to something
So? Keep him up for a few weeks and see how long it takes before he's holding the door open while you walk into your doctors' office.
I know what 62 said, but I'd still try and take melatonin if it's really that bad. Sure I get really weird dreams but its worth it to get some sleep.
Hehe... I'm insomniac also and I just play games and goof off and shit... you don't haveto stare at the ceiling bruh.

It does suck, but your dad is right. I'm an insomniac and my doctor prescribed me Lunesta... it's great... I can sleep and whatnot; however, if I don't take it, I CAN'T sleep. Sleeping pill dependance is a real problem. Try exercising to wear yourself our or some other non-sleeping pill options or talk to your doctor... not really a true FML but I know the feeling very well. :/
Ok, those things may help normal people with sleepless nights, but, as an insomniac, I can tell you that those things don't help. We have a real problem that can't simply be reversed by changing our nightly routine.
