I call BS. What sort of infantile mind would actually think his mother grounding him when he's 27 and living on his own is a FML situation? Most likely she was joking, and if the OP thinks it belongs on FML, it's because he's an idiot. I'm 27 and live on my own. When I was 17, I was told by my mother that if I went to Detroit to see a particular movie, she would ground me as soon as she found out. I did go and I didn't get caught. I told her about it a couple years ago, and she said "YOU'RE GROUNDED!" Except I'm not stupid and knew she was joking.
17 even seems a little old for grounding...just saying.
If this did happen, she more than likely was joking and more than likely is getting a laugh out of you thinking she still has that authority over you.
YDI for being 27 and in high school
#22 are you really that ******* stupid?
Jesus Christ... Are you for real? I swear, the ignorance emanating from people on the internet is almost insulting.
What the **** people? Learn to take a joke people. People are getting less and less humoress these days -_-
Please don't breed...
she must have been joking and YDI for not realising it. but if not you're an idiot for actually paying attention to it. I'm 16 and if my parents ground me I don't listen and personally i think anyone who does is a ******.
You're a classy one, aren't you, little kid?
You think anyone who listens to their parents as they are growing up a ******?
#40 - Damn right. He's nothing but an ignorant child, and thus deserves no respect. The little boy can have his bigoted views, but is in for a shock when he toddles out into the real world.
I kinda agree with number 26 here....to me it is kinda sad if you let your parents ground you past 16-17.
LOL!!! u should tell her that, lol it'll just piss her off even more hehe
if you live in your own apartment, then why are you listening to her? you obviously have one messed up life if you let her boss you around still. dumbass

So if you live in your own apartment, how is this a FML? Just don't listen. Duh. I know 13 year olds who know how to rebel against a grounding in their own home better than this.
Tell me you didn't adhere to it.
