Meat is murder

Today, my fiancé's parents visited. I keep chickens for their eggs, and his parents own a farm, so we had a connection. They told us to leave the house while they cooked us dinner. When we returned, we faced two steaming plates of chicken. My chickens. They had names. FML

#4, shut the hell up, you insensitive jerk. They were keeping the chickens for their eggs. My dad and stepmother have chickens for the same reason, and they would never eat them. This is horrible, I'm sorry! Who the hell kills someone ELSE'S chickens without asking? I'd have flipped a shit on them. They'd better be buying you some new chickens. :(

How are people clicking YDI? They didn't ask your permission to kill your chickens anyway... even if you weren't vegetarian they shouldn't have done it anyway. Plus surely they should know you are vegetarian by now, they are just plain dumb. I'm vegetarian too, i haven't ever eaten meat and I hate it when people are thoughtless, i always find time to ask people what they want me to cook, and I will even cook meat for my friends that eat it.

One does not kill another person's animals unless given express permission, and in most cases not even then. I hope you embarrassed the hell out of his parents so they'll never do it again.

Awww this sucks I would be heartbroken But I guess cause they have a farm, and raise animals for food all the time they don't see the problem with it. On another note I have been dating my bf for two years and his parents know the foods I simply wont touch....How are you engaged to someone and his parents not know you are a vegetarian. And to all those idiots bashing vegetarians -- Its a choice ppl make, leave them alone! There is nothing wrong with choosing not to eat meat.

they don't get mad because vegetarians don't eat meat, they get mad because so many of them start bitching about the fact that they it meat (some even do that while their eating the meat!) which is just a douchebag thing to do.
