At least he fessed up like a man and didn't try to cover it up with lies
Ouch.
One swift kick to where the sun don't shine will make sure there won't be a third child
If he said " I new it " quickly with no emphasis then you alerted his suspicions to something that is plausible. I learned this from Jerry (Seinfeld.)
Well, at least there's the (extremely) small comfort that he regrets it to such a degree that he'd breakdown crying at the news. I know everything about this sucks, but if he only did it once, regrets it that much, and the both of you want to stay together then I promise you there are stranger situations that still work But if you don't Don't try just for the kid, your child is a fetus, it has never known having a father, so if it's born into a situation with split parents it won't feel like it's lost something because it's never known anything else (I speak from experience, I'm the child of a single mother) As long as your kid has adults/people in it's life that it trusts, cares about, and can depend on, it doesn't matter if those people are their biological parent or even in any way romantically involved with you
I'm so sorry that's really horrible.

Maybe he was pranking you in return?
Well that's one way to get the truth out
