Yeah, I really would mind. I don't care how hot someone is, they have no right to touch me in such a way without my permission. I say in such a way because I'm obviously not going to freak out on someone for touching me if they tapped me on the shoulder to get my attention. That would be insane.
Sorry this ^ comment wasn't supposed to post down here, so I posted this comment again in the correct spot. I apologize for the annoyance it may cause.
I was at a party not too long ago, talking with some friends, and felt somebody grab a big old handful of ass. I turned around and some dude was leering at me drunkenly, so I punched him in the face and broke his nose. We're in the same class this semester, and while we don't have a problem chatting about class material, I've noticed that he never gets within four feet of me. Lol. Being groped without your permission by a stranger is NEVER okay, and even though it sucks that your manager didn't seem to care, you can definitely MAKE her care by taking legal action. Don't stand for it.
Um, 118, I have no idea what compelled you to do such a thing, but I know most women would at the very least tell you right the **** off for doing that if they didn't ask for it (or signal they wanted it). That's not an overreaction... that's telling perverts like you to lay the **** off.
And how's that approach working for you, #118? I bet the reason you're desperate enough to violate girls by stuffing your cold, sweaty hands into their private areas is because there's not a woman on this planet who would voluntarily allow you to do it.
Heh, they're called "private areas" for a reason!
That doesn't exactly matter. You can't just walk up to whatever chick you feel like and start molesting the crap out her private areas. What gives you the right!?
148 - Did you miss the part where I said "...if they didn't ask for it (or signal they wanted it)."? What you said, if it's true, changes everything. She signaled she wanted it. You made it sound like you randomly walked up to her because you felt like it, and started feeling her up.
Well guess what, it's her choice if she would mind it if it was Brad Pitt or if it's a random guy. You can also swap Brad Pitt or whatever for a regular guy that she knows and likes, and she wouldn't mind it either, you gonna go around saying "why can he do that and I can't" in this case too? "Rape in a party- please" Uh, are you being serious, or do you live in a bubble? Even if it wasn't common, it's an instinct to be afraid of it. You and I can't understand that because we're guys. Like I said, I also think that 103 overreacted, I'd love to see what she'd write about if the story was a guy punching a girl for grabbing his ass, but you're on the other extreme.
^^ Well said. Nothing more to add onto that except for the fact that even if it was Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp, they would still be out of line and many girls would do the same thing regardless of who it was. No girl appreciates being touched there without permission. Shoving your hands down her pants IF she didn't ask for it is just wrong. In your case, I suppose she wanted it so it doesn't matter near as much. But telling a guy off for grabbing or slapping her ass when she didn't ask for or want that kind of attention is not an overreaction. We're not objects, asshole.
As a matter of fact, I was only a couple of drinks in and nowhere near being drunk, @Sublime420. To answer your other assumptions, the guy was fairly attractive - tall, in shape, nice eyes, etc. It didn't matter. Are you implying that good-looking men should be given a free pass to sexually harass women? Are you really that shallow? I know at least five women who have been raped/taken advantage of at parties, and many others who have had close calls (including myself on a different occasion). Parties are an extremely common situation for that kind of thing. Before the incident involving me, I had already observed the guy in question being crude with other girls, doing everything from trying to kiss them to trying to grab a tit here and there. So go ahead and tell me again how I "overreacted".
lol
So us girls with nice ass's should let old men touch it. If I was getting touchedby someone I didn't know or didn't want to touch it id freak! Sexual harassment is not a game. Nowadays its illegal. Weather your 50 or 15 still illegal
I would have smacked your ass too. YDI for making your ass look nice to go to work at a grocery store.
I feel like I have to clarify some things. I screamed in suprise not at him. The camera's don't show where I am as they only have about five in the entire store. Whoever said loblaws is right. Yes I have a great ass. I'm not ugly and probably get more sex than the guys who are commenting on this.
Lets just hope the shitty old bugger dies of a heart attack and has his face eaten by his cats. OP: I would sit down with the manager and tell her that her behaviour was inappropriate and HIGHLY illegal and she should be very thankful you haven't chosen to press charges against the man who sexually assaulted you OR the store for aiding and abetting him in his sexual harassment of you. Oh, and to all you dingle berries who say she should get over it and accept being sexually assaulted: grow up. Whether you like it or not women are people and we deserve to be treated as such.
the customer is always right
Lol, can i come to your store and do that? Free $25 gift card lols

What a creep! ******* managers always siding with customers. The customer is not always right!
It's easy for him to get away with it since he probably didn't even remember doing anything by the time the manager walked over.
