Pleased to meet you

Today, I met a guy while out with some friends. He kept blowing up his cheeks, so I did it back to him and asked him why he did it. He pulled out a card from his wallet and pointed at it. It was a card saying he may have speech or facial difficulties because he had a stroke when he was 12. FML

I wouldn't worry about it, I mean yeah it's embarrassing for you, but it doesn't sound like he was upset or anything. If anything, it's probably a common occurrence for him.

It seems like a normal thing for him if he had a paper in his wallet as if he was prepared for it but you shouldn't have done it back to him

F both of your lives. You had no way of knowing, and something like that doesn't commonly happen. I'm sure he understood.

aha it happens :p don't worry about it

If he has a card in his wallet explaining that, it must happen all the time. Consider this a lesson. Always assume that weird things strangers do is for a reason. Sure, they could just be off in the head (which would mean they have a mental defect), or they could have had a stroke at age 12. You just never know. It is human nature to notice, but I try not to be obvious about it (long stares, asking questions, imitating actions, and so on).

It's not OP's fault, how was she supposed to know that? Anyway, I don't see the connection between the stroke and the blowing thing, but after all I'm not a doctor.

That asshole moment when you.... I wouldn't say it's your fault, it wasn't intentional..the bloke probably thought you were blowing kisses
