Agreed, tampons can get stuck... I know my girlfriends got stuck once and guess who got to get it out..... 0_o Theres nothing wrong with pads, biut going to a party i would assume would classify a tampon kind of occassion? I dont know though considering i have no experience with either except throwing ketchup tampons at people when i was younger...

tampons are ouchy. pads are gross. menstrual cups are 1,000,000x less ouchy and gross than both of those. you don't realize how bad tampons and pads are until you try a cup.

Tampons don't get stuck. If you were able to get it out for your girlfriend, and no hospital visit was necessary it obviously wasn't stuck, she just didn't try hard enough to take it out.

Pads ARE thick unless you have a nonexistent flow and use the thin ones. One of the main reasons I stopped using pads was because I had to use such thick ones that I was afraid of people noticing them. Plus, they felt like diapers since they were so big.

Although I absolutely hate pads bc I think they are gross and unsanitary, you are wrong, my friend! They do not have to be thick and bulky. My old roommate used these Always Infinity pads that are for regular or heavy flow and are slightly thicker than a pantyliner.

Nothing dumbfounds me more about the *insert wherever you're from here* than their inability to read and understand a simple sentence. Forgive us for not all rushing to the Tom Cruise school of terrifyingly large dental work.

EXACTLY. this is absolutely a no-win site. some jackass would say "YDI for being a **** & wearing a tampon"

It's pretty easy to tuck a tampon string back up into your parts. Try that with a pad. If you succeed, I don't want to hear about it. :(
