Today, after a little detective work, I found out the money that recently went missing from my college fund was transferred by my mother, to her own account. She claims it's to pay a parking ticket. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I didn't know they fined people over $3,500 for a parking violation. FML

Today, I found out my mom took around $2,500 from my savings account to pay off my sister's college tuition. She recently flunked out of her studies and won't be returning to college anyway. FML

Today, I got a $60 parking ticket for not paying the $2.50 pay-to-park fee. I checked my bank records, which proved that I'd paid the fee, for the correct space too. The problem is the fine is too small to contest in traffic court. FML

Today, I found out my mother drives my car. I was okay with it; I don't use it all the time and she's my mother. However, I was not okay with the multiple speeding tickets that came through in the post. "You're the registered keeper, so why should I pay?" FML

Today, I was on the way to traffic court for a $340 speeding ticket I'd got. My mother called me and I wasn't paying attention which caused me to speed. Right past a cop. When I told the cop where I was going, he started laughing at me. I now have another $300 ticket. FML

I see you are from BC, recently a guy filmed himself going 300kph down a highway and was driving with a suspended licences and he only got 1500 dollar in fines.... Your mom is a scammer

Oh, well, that makes it totally fine then >( Down here (Australia), if you want to start a school fund for your child, you open it in their name and no matter how much you put it, you can't touch a single cent, it's all theirs. Don't know why parents bother opening a college fund if they're just going to steal it back again.

Wow. The same thing Happened to me. I used to have $4,200 in Student loans in MY bank account until my mom funneled over $3,600 to HER account. I was outraged that most of it was gone and then got fully blamed that I could not "Handle my own funds" by my Grandmother when In reality I had spent only $600 of my money. I have yet to be payed back by my mom.
