@119 You're awesome!
@123 Hope you're being sarcastic... Sometimes kids need to be brought down a peg or two... crushing a 3 year olds hopes and dream horrible... Introducing a spoiled 16 year old to reality is just part of being a parent haha.
LOL
I love how people are calling the OP a spoiled brat. Who's to say they aren't trying to save up for a car, but were begging their parents for help? Cars are expensive, and when you're 16 you can only do so much. I know it would have been impossible for me to have gotten a job in high school had it not been for my car because I lived in a town dominated by houses and everything is kind of spread out so none of the businesses were within walking or biking distance. Don't even get me started on how bad public transportation around there is. OP, I feel for you. My grandmother promised my parents and I that she would pay for my first car when I was really little, and let them know that she planned to "keep" her promise. When I was 16 me and my dad found a car we agreed on for a good price, my grandmother gave my dad the money to go get it. When he got home her first words were "now we need to work out a way for you to pay me back". My parents would have never gotten me a car of they knew they had to pay for it! They paid her back, but luckily told me they weren't going to make ME pay THEM back and instead they were just going to wait for her to die so they could get it back in inheritance. Years later I still feel guilty about it (even though it was her fault for breaking her promise), and the old hag still hasn't died yet.
ya they don't HAVE do buy you a car but they were total assholes to derive pleasure in letting someone down. wait until they need you to pay their health insurance and see who's laughing then hmm?
When you're 16, you don't even need a car. Duh. And you're all pathetic expecting other people to pay for your cars! Idiots, they're expensive. Get a job then get a loan.
Yeah, don't be selfish. Be a shell fish. :D
you're parents are pretty awesome, and complete assholes at the same time. good luck though!
Your parents are genius. You can't expect you parents to buy you a car. anyway I admit is was pretty mean of your parents to let you believe they had bought a car for you.

:-) That's basically what my family did to my brother, only we used a model BMW. You kind of deserve that - car's aren't toys and they are expensive to buy and worse to insure. Get a job and pay for it yourself. Best of luck!
I wouldn't mind getting Hot Wheels cars...
