Let this be a lesson to y'all, children! ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get a copy of any written agreement. Use E-Mail, not text messages, for important business shite. Have a credible witness to back you up. It's not paranoia, it's diligence. A little diligence goes a long way.
that is why there is there copies. one for you, one for the manager and another for HR
