Today, I went for a run. I ended up being tackled by two cops, handcuffed, and dragged to the station with no explanation. Turns out a house nearby had been robbed and the best description they got was, "A man running." I didn't even get an apology. FML

i honestly think that you made this up. my dad is a cop, and it's against the law for them to arrest anyone without telling them why and reading them their rights. but if this did honestly happen to you, you can complain about the officers, because they broke the law.

OP here (made an account woohoo). i can understand how some people balk at believing this: it does seem disheartening that officers of the law could be irresponsible, but I assure you, it happened. I am seeking legal council. And I'm sure your father is a decent cop, but it doesn't mean that all jack-hole cops are decent.

Fake, they have to tell you why they are arresting you. If it's real, sue the cop, he'll get fired.

Ive been pulled over by a cop before for no reason at all and when i asked why he just said that he had the right to pull anybody over at any given time. i wasnt even doing anything wrong. yes cops have to tell you why they are arresting you etc. but it doesnt mean they actually do it!
