How exactly did you "force" her to get in the car?
If I did that my mum would drive away leaving me alone. OP if you DID buy the purse, its very disappointing as YOU are the girls parent. She should not be forcing you to buy whatever the hell she wants. Discipline her and teach her about how popularity isn't everything; how people in some country don't get enough money to buy clothes that properly cover them or even food for a one-time meal and here she is, throwing a tantrum over a purse which she may not even Require.
I'm going to put this out there that OPs daughter sounds like a spoiled brat. I am not opposed to people wanting to own nice things, but when you see people out there that struggle daily to make ends meet, to just want it to look popular is pretty ******* selfish imo. I really hope you don't/haven't bought it for her.
I mean. Yea that's gotta sick OP but wouldn't u rather that over what happened in Cleveland?
I bet u she would've gotten the parent into lots of trouble if the parent kept saying no!
This. This makes me sad. I dislike people like this with a passion.
kids have bratty moments, don't give OP too much crap about parenting. Teen years are some of the hardest to deal with, especially for a man trying to understand his teenage daughter.
Better safe than sorry, OP! Good the police were alert enough to question you- maybe that means some girl somewhere doesn't get abducted and held hostage (or worse) by a lunatic. Your discomfort about this incident with your spoiled and demanding daughter is a small price to pay, don't you think?
